THE PREMIUM ZANE COLLECTOR

Zane Gulfpanel System: Premium Solar Pool Heating for Space-Constrained or Commercial Pools

The Zane Gulfpanel is the premium high-output collector in the Zane solar pool heating range, designed for installations where roof space is limited, maximum output per square metre matters, or commercial-scale heat delivery is required. As authorised Zane dealers, Beasley Pool Heating installs Gulfpanel systems across Adelaide and South Australia. Premium polymer construction, enhanced thermal performance, and the same 25-year design life as the rest of the Zane range. Supplied as a professionally installed system, or as a DIY option once our team has helped you size it.

THE PREMIUM COLLECTOR

Who the Zane Gulfpanel is right for

The Gulfpanel sits at the top of the Zane range. It's not the most common residential choice, most Adelaide pools are well served by the Gulfstream. The Gulfpanel makes sense in specific situations where its premium output justifies the premium price.

Gulfpanel is the right choice if you have:

Limited roof space

If your roof can't fit collector area equal to your pool's surface area, the Gulfpanel's higher output per square metre lets you fit more heating into less space. They're 20% more efficient.

A premium residential project

New builds, high-end renovations, or owners who want the best of what Zane makes.

A commercial pool

Commercial installs often benefit from premium-spec collectors: higher output, custom configurations, commercial-grade controllers.

Not sure? We'll tell you straight

If you have a standard residential pool and a north-facing roof with enough space, the Gulfstream is usually the better value choice. Talk to us during the quote, we won't push you toward Gulfpanel if Gulfstream will do the job.

Gulfpanel also earns its place if you have:

An east or west-facing roof and want comparable output to a north-facing install

Premium output helps compensate for a suboptimal roof aspect.

A pool with high heating demand, or a home near a park or bushland

Hybrid systems work well here to keep electricity costs down. They can work together to keep your pool heated as efficiently as possible. Protection from wildlife is a necessity, especially cockatoos.

A COMPLETE SYSTEM

What's in a Zane Gulfpanel installation

A Gulfpanel installation includes the same complete-system approach as the rest of the Zane range, with premium-spec components throughout. Gulfpanels are 20% more efficient than thermoplastic rubber and are the ultimate in vermin-proof technology, designed to resist all forms of wildlife.

A built-in vacuum relief valve drains the collectors once the system switches off. This sends all the water back to the pool, and protects the system against frost damage in winter.

Everything you need for a complete Gulfpanel system

From the premium collectors and smart controller to plumbing, installation and warranty, a Beasley Gulfpanel install is a complete, integrated system, specified for higher operating loads and wildlife-prone sites.

HOW IT WORKS

How the Gulfpanel system works

The Gulfpanel operates on the same principles as all Zane TPR systems, but with premium components that deliver more heat per square metre of collector.

1. Premium collectors absorb solar radiation

The Gulfpanel's enhanced construction delivers higher output per square metre than the Gulfstream.

2. Your pool pump (or booster pump) drives the flow

Standard residential installs typically use the existing pool pump unless there are solar provisions in place. Commercial installs often use dedicated booster pumps for higher flow rates.

3. Smart controller manages operation automatically

Sensors compare roof and pool temperatures, and the system only runs when adding heat is genuinely productive.

4. Heated water returns to the pool

The warmed water flows back through your return lines into the pool, lifting the temperature a little on every pass through the panels.

5. Premium build, long service life

Same 25-year design life as the rest of the Zane range, with construction designed for higher operating loads.

"These guys are amazing, would happily recommend them. The whole process from first contact through to installation went smoothly with great communication and customer service."

PREMIUM TIER PRICING

What does a Gulfpanel system cost?

Gulfpanel is the premium tier of the Zane range, and is priced accordingly. The price gap to Gulfstream reflects the higher-performance construction and is justified in specific situations. Here is when the price gap makes sense, and when the Gulfstream is the better value.

Commercial-scale projects

The price gap makes sense: premium build for higher operating loads and commercial-scale heat delivery.

Wildlife-prone areas

The price gap makes sense: vermin proofing is required and you're located in an area with a lot of wildlife, cockatoos especially.

Premium residential briefs

The price gap makes sense: premium residential projects where best-available product is the brief.

Standard residential pools

Gulfstream is the better value: standard residential pools with adequate north-facing roof space, and cost-sensitive installs where Gulfstream output is sufficient.

DIY installation

Gulfstream is usually the better value: it ships as a DIY kit in five sizes. Gulfpanel DIY is possible, but talk to our team first about panel sizing and the install.

What we'll always do: recommend the right collector for your pool, not the dearest one.
