THE PREMIUM GUARDIAN TIER
Guardian Lux V Range, the Premium Pool Heat Pump for Adelaide
The Guardian Lux V is the premium tier of the Guardian pool heat pump range. DC inverter compressor, ultra-quiet operation, premium controller and casing. As authorised Guardian dealers, Beasley Pool Heating installs the Lux V range across Adelaide and South Australia for premium residential projects, noise-sensitive sites, and owners who want best-available pool heating equipment. Every Lux V install is backed by Beasley's in-house service team and parts in stock at our Beverley warehouse, the kind of long-term support you'd expect with a premium product.
THE PREMIUM TIER
Who the Guardian Lux V is right for
The Lux V sits at the top of the Guardian range. It's not the default residential choice; the Eco Pro suits most family pools. The Lux V makes sense in specific situations where its premium features justify the premium price.
The Lux V is the right choice if you have:
Noise-sensitive installation
Heat pump going close to bedrooms, alfresco, neighbours, or anywhere noise is a real concern. The Lux V's sound-dampened fans and DC inverter run noticeably quieter than standard heat pumps.

A long-term hold property
The premium controller and DC inverter compressor are built to a higher specification than the Eco Pro, relevant for installs where you want maximum service life.
A premium residential project
New build, high-end renovation, architect-designed home, or owners who specifically want best-available equipment throughout.
High utilisation expected
Daily year-round operation puts more wear on the unit. The Lux V's premium components are rated for higher-duty operation.

THE PREMIUM SOLUTION
The Lux V also earns its place if you have...
A commercial install in a sound-sensitive area
Hotels, retirement villages, multi-unit dwellings where heat pump noise needs to be minimised.
A COMPLETE SYSTEM
What's in a Guardian Lux V installation
Every Lux V install from Beasley is a complete, commissioned system with premium-spec components throughout, placed and tuned with sound in mind.

HOW IT WORKS
How the Guardian Lux V differs from a standard heat pump
The Lux V follows the same fundamental heat pump cycle as the Eco Pro, but is engineered for cold climate conditions. The result is quieter operation, more refined temperature control, and a unit built for higher-duty operation.
1. Same fundamental cycle as the Eco Pro
Refrigerant absorbs heat from ambient air, compressor concentrates it, heat exchanger transfers it into the pool water.
2. DC inverter compressor, the difference starts here
DC inverter technology adjusts compressor speed continuously and precisely, rather than the stepped adjustment of standard inverters. The result is more efficient operation and significantly quieter running.
3. Sound-dampened fan and casing
The fan and compressor are housed in casing specifically designed to reduce sound transmission. Important for any install where noise is a real consideration.
4. Premium controller for refined operation
The Lux V controller offers more refined temperature management and scheduling than the standard Eco Pro controller. Some models support remote monitoring.
5. Built for long-term, high-duty operation
Every component is specified for higher-duty operation. The unit is designed for owners who'll run it hard and want it to last.

PREMIUM TIER PRICING
What does a Guardian Lux V cost?

WE HAVE THE ANSWERS
Guardian Lux V FAQs
Eco Pro is the market standard heat pump configuration for domestic family pools. Lux V is the right choice if noise and cold climate is a real concern, and/or if you're specifying premium throughout your project.
DC inverter compressor and sound-dampened casing both contribute to noticeably quieter operation than a standard inverter heat pump. Specific decibel ratings are available in the Lux V technical specifications; we can provide them during your quote.
Both ranges deliver excellent COP (4 to 6 units of heat per unit of electricity). They share a very similar real world COP, though the Lux V outperforms in cold climates.
A well-maintained Lux V in Adelaide conditions will last you up to 15 years. The titanium inverter shared with the Eco Pro is warrantied up to 25 years. The DC inverter compressor and premium casing are built for high-duty operation, which can extend service life under heavy use.
Depends on your situation. For most standard family pools, the Eco Pro is the better value choice. For noise-sensitive sites, premium projects, compact installations or cold climate conditions, the Lux V's premium features pay back over the unit's service life. We'll give you an honest recommendation during the quote.
Guardian's full manufacturer warranty applies to the Lux V range. 5 years on the compressor and electrical components and 25 years for the titanium inverter. These are typically equal to or longer than standard range warranties. Beasley also backs the installation workmanship directly. Specific terms confirmed during the quote.
Yes. Like the rest of the Guardian range, the Lux V is "Solar PV Ready", allowing connectivity between the heat pump and Solar PV Smart inverter boards. Running it during daylight hours from your home solar PV can effectively eliminate running cost.
