YOU KNOW THE PROBLEM, SO WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?
Who Pool Heating is for, and What it Actually Solves
If you own a pool in Adelaide, you've probably had the same realisation: the swimming season is short. December through February if you're lucky, and even then the water's only comfortable for part of the day. Pool heating exists to fix that. It extends the season, sometimes to year-round, depending on the system you choose.
Owners outside metro Adelaide
If you're handy and located outside our standard install area, our DIY kits give you the same Zane product at a lower total cost.
Homeowners who want more swim time
The most common reason customers contact us. You've invested in a pool but only get to use it 3 months a year. Solar typically adds 7 to 8 months; a heat pump 7 to 8 months, or if sized correctly can take you to year-round.
Commercial pool operators
Hotels, schools, aquatic centres, retirement villages, holiday parks. These are facilities where the pool is part of the offering and needs to operate at temperature reliably.
Families with kids who swim daily
Heating makes the difference between a pool that gets used a few times a season and one that gets used every day. The cost is offset many times over by actual use.
Pool owners with old or failed systems
Inherited a non-working system? Got a 20-year-old solar setup that's seen better days? Most existing pools can be retrofitted with a new system.
Three Proven Systems
What Each One Is and What It Includes
We sell three systems, so we're free to recommend whichever genuinely suits your pool, including telling you the one you came in asking about isn't the right fit. Here's what each one is and what it includes.
Solar Pool Heating
The most popular and lowest-running-cost option for Adelaide pools with plenty of roof space. A complete system includes: • Zane TPR (Thermo plastic rubber) collectors sized to your pool • Zane PC5 controller and sensors to monitor roof and pool temperatures • Connection to your existing pool pump (or a booster pump on larger systems) • Full installation by Beasley's own team, typically single-day • 25-year design life on Zane TPR collectors
Pool Heat Pumps
For pools without suitable roof space, or owners who want the option to swim year-round. A complete heat pump install includes: • Guardian inverter heat pump sized to your pool volume and target temperature • Plumbing connection to your existing pool circulation • Electrical connection (we coordinate licensed electrical work where required) • Programmable controller with set-and-forget temperature management • Choice of Eco Pro range (everyday workhorse) or Lux V range (premium, ultra-quiet) • Up to 15 years typical service life
DIY Solar Kits
Same Zane product we install professionally, supplied as a complete kit you install yourself. Each DIY kit includes: • 50m Absorber Roll(s) of Zane • Gulfstream collectors in your chosen size (18, 22, 28, 33 or 40sqm) • All fittings, connectors and mounting hardware • Bypass valves and frost-protection components • Full step-by-step installation instructions Phone and email support from our team during your install Australia-wide shipping

NO SMOKE AND MIRRORS
What Does Pool Heating Cost in Adelaide?
Honest answer: it depends on the system, your pool size, and your installation specifics. We can't always quote you accurately over the phone, but here's the approximate shape of the investment so you know what to expect before booking the onsite quote.
Solar pool heating cost and installation price is driven primarily by the size of the collector area (roughly equal to your pool's surface area) plus the Zane PC5 solar controller, plumbing, pump, labour, and any roof access work. Standard residential installs fall within a predictable range; commercial and oversized installs are scoped individually.
Pool heat pumps Cost and installation price is driven by the size of the unit which is measured in kilowatts. The larger the unit, the more heat it can transfer into the circulating pool water. Heat pumps are sized on pool volume and target temperature. Most standard family pools (40 to 60kL) suit a 13 to 17kW inverter unit. Installation requires plumbing of the unit into the filtration system and hardwiring the unit with a licensed electrician. (All done in-house)
DIY kits Fixed pricing per size (18, 22, 28, 33, 40sqm). Substantially cheaper than an installed system because you provide the labour. Shipping included Australia-wide. The lowest total cost option if you're hands-on and your pool suits solar.

Frequently Asked Questions
For lowest running cost, solar pool heating is most efficient. Once installed, you only pay to run the circulation pump. For year-round heating, a modern inverter heat pump is most efficient, producing 4 to 6 units of heat per unit of electricity drawn.
Most metro Adelaide solar pool heating installations are completed in a single day. Heat pump installations typically take half a day, depending on whether new electrical or plumbing work is required. Commercial and large residential jobs are scoped individually.
Yes, and it's a popular choice for customers who want the lowest possible running cost in summer plus the ability to swim through winter. Solar handles most of the heating load on your warm days; the heat pump tops up on cool days and runs through winter if you want to swim then.
Not usually. We measure and inspect during the quote visit, so by installation day everything is planned. For new pools under construction, we coordinate timing with your pool builder.
We service every system we install. Our Beverley warehouse stocks Zane and Guardian spares, so most repairs are completed within 48 to 72 hours of you calling. Out-of-warranty repairs are charged at standard service rates with quotes provided upfront.
Yes. Zane solar systems carry the manufacturer's warranty (with design life often exceeding 20 years in practice). Guardian heat pumps carry their full manufacturer warranty. Our installation workmanship is backed by Beasley directly.
We undertake larger residential and commercial installations across regional South Australia (Barossa, Fleurieu, Yorke Peninsula, Limestone Coast, Riverland). For smaller jobs outside our standard install area, our DIY kits ship Australia-wide.
