WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?

How commercial differs from residential...

Pools in a commercial setting have different needs than pools in a residential setting. Not only the output differs:

Scoped per facility, not per template

Heat load, system type, electrical scope and staging are engineered for your specific facility. Multi-unit commercial installs run across multiple days.

Confidential by default

Many commercial customers prefer not to have their facility used in public marketing. We respect that: detailed case studies and named references are shared as part of a confidential project conversation.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

What a commercial project includes

From first site assessment to ongoing service contracts, scoped and delivered by the same in-house team.

Site assessment and heat-load scoping

Pool volume, usage pattern, target temperatures and roof or plant-room constraints assessed onsite.

We assess the pool, plant room, roof and electrical capacity onsite.

Staged installation

Multi-unit and large-array installs are scheduled in stages around your facility’s operations. Regional projects scoped on travel logistics.

WHAT DRIVES COST

What drives commercial cost

Commercial pricing is scoped, not templated. These are the drivers.

commercial-cost-energy Large.jpeg

Facility heat load

Pool volume, target temperature and operating months are the biggest drivers.
commercial-cost-site Large.jpeg

System type

Solar array, multi-unit heat pumps, or a combination; each is priced on the engineered design.
commercial-cost-pool-size Large.jpeg

Electrical scope

Three-phase capacity and switchboard work, coordinated and included in the proposal.
commercial-cost-hours Large.jpeg

Staging and access

Multi-day installs, roof access and working around facility operations.

Service contract terms

SLAs scoped per facility; get in touch to discuss.

Every proposal is itemised and fixed before work proceeds.

Nothing is scoped over the phone that should be scoped onsite.

Commercial pool heating FAQs

  • Hotels and motels, schools from primary to tertiary, aquatic centres and council-operated facilities, retirement villages and aged care, holiday parks and caravan parks, sports clubs and recreation centres.

  • Yes, on request. Most commercial projects are anonymised by client request, so detailed case studies and named references are shared as part of a confidential project conversation.

  • Both are used commercially. Large Zane arrays (including higher-output Gulfpanel) suit facilities with roof area; Guardian multi-unit heat pump configurations suit year-round or indoor operation. Many facilities combine the two.

  • Multi-unit commercial installs run across multiple days: larger units, more plumbing, more electrical work. Timing is confirmed in the proposal.

  • Yes. Commercial SLAs are scoped per facility, and emergency situations with operational impact are prioritised.

  • Yes: Barossa, Fleurieu, Yorke Peninsula, Limestone Coast and Riverland, scoped on travel logistics.

  • Our own in-house team, no subcontractors, with licensed electricians coordinated for electrical scope. Same family-owned business since 1979.

Hahndorf Lodge Guardian Lux V GLV28kW Heat Pump Installation

Adelaide Hills

A commercial pool heating installation at Hahndorf Lodge, featuring the Guardian Lux V GLV28kW Full Inverter Heat Pump to help extend the swimming season in the cooler Adelaide Hills climate. The system was selected to deliver strong, energy-efficient heating with quiet inverter operation, helping maintain a more comfortable pool temperature for guests across a greater portion of the year. With dependable performance and a compact, modern design, the Guardian Lux V is well suited to accommodation and commercial environments where comfort, efficiency and reliability all matter. The result is a practical heating solution that gives Hahndorf Lodge more flexibility and keeps the pool ready to enjoy for longer.

Adelaide Hills Commercial Guardian Lux V GLV32T Upgrade

Adelaide Hills

A commercial pool heating upgrade in the Adelaide Hills featuring the Guardian Lux V GLV32T 32kW Three-Phase Full Inverter Heat Pump, selected to provide dependable heating performance in the region’s cooler climate. With restricted access between established buildings and landscaped areas, getting the new commercial heat pump into position required careful planning from the Beasley team. Once in place, the compact vertical air-discharge design provided a practical solution for the available plant area while delivering the heating capacity required for a larger, frequently used pool. The finished installation provides efficient, quiet and intelligently controlled pool heating, helping the facility maintain more consistent water temperatures and extend pool availability throughout the year.

Guardian Eco-Pro GE35T Commercial Upgrade

Adelaide Central

A commercial pool heating upgrade featuring the Guardian Eco-Pro GE35T 35kW Three-Phase Full Inverter Heat Pump, providing a powerful and energy-efficient replacement for an ageing pool heating system. Designed for the higher demands of a commercial swimming environment, the new system delivers substantially improved temperature control while inverter technology allows heating output to adjust according to demand rather than operating continuously at full capacity. The Beasley team managed the removal of the existing equipment, positioning and installation of the new commercial heat pump, and integration with the existing pool plant. The result is a cleaner, more efficient system designed for reliable daily operation, reduced running noise and consistent swimming comfort across an extended season.

Every commercial system is backed by the same in-house service team, parts inventory and warranty handling as our residential work.

Since 1979, across metro Adelaide and regional South Australia.

Keep Up the Great Work Guys

"Five stars for Henry and his team. They were great right from the process of provide quote (best price), site visit, equipment installation (modified their standard process to suit my property’s requirements at no extra cost) and, more importantly providing prompt after sales-service.

Everyone was punctual, respectful in behaviour and super helpful with general maintenance tips and advice. Keep up the great work guys."
