BEYOND JUST HEATING

Filtration, Electrical & Pool Equipment Support: Beyond Just Heating

Beasley Pool Heating's service capability extends beyond pool heating alone. We service and repair pool filtration systems, pool pumps, pool electrical work, and broader pool equipment integration, particularly where these intersect with heating. Useful when your service issue turns out to be filtration rather than heating, when electrical work needs coordinating with heat pump installation, or when you'd rather have a single specialist team handling everything around the pool. Family-owned in Adelaide since 1979, with the same in-house team and 48 to 72 hour metro response.

WHO IT'S FOR

Who broader pool equipment support is for

This page exists because pool problems don't always stay neatly within one category. Sometimes what looks like a heating issue turns out to be a filtration problem. Sometimes a new heat pump install needs electrical coordination. Sometimes you'd rather have one team handling everything around the pool equipment pad. Here's specifically who this is for.

Broader pool equipment support is for you if:

Your "heating issue" might be a filtration issue

Pool circulation drives both heating and filtration. If your pool's not getting warm, sometimes the cause is reduced circulation due to a filter issue rather than the heater itself. We'll diagnose holistically.

Pool filtration and equipment photo

You're refurbishing a pool equipment pad

When pool equipment is being replaced or upgraded together (heater, pool pump, filter, plumbing), having a single team scope and deliver the work avoids the coordination headaches of multiple trades.

You're installing a heat pump and need electrical coordination

Most heat pump installs require electrical work, sometimes new circuits, sometimes switchboard capacity changes. We coordinate with our in-house licensed electrician as part of the install.

You inherited a pool with mystery equipment

Bought a home and the equipment shed is a museum of mixed-vintage gear from previous owners? We assess what's there, what works, what's safe, and what should be replaced. And if you want consistent service across all your pool equipment, the same team handles it all.

What's outside our scope:

Water chemistry, pool structure and cleaners

Pool water chemistry and chemical balance belong with a pool shop or pool service specialist (we'll flag chemistry issues we notice). Pool plaster, tiling, structural repairs, leak detection in the shell, and robotic pool cleaners are also outside our scope; we can recommend specialists.

Building works and highly specialised equipment

Decking, paving, fencing and landscaping are outside our scope. And some commercial or premium equipment lines need brand-specific service providers, and we'll tell you up front rather than pretend to be experts in everything.

THE PRACTICAL SCOPE

What we cover beyond heating

Here's the practical scope of broader pool equipment work we handle. If you're not sure whether something falls within our scope, call us and we'll let you know honestly.

Pool circulation pumps, Pool filtration and equipment photo

Pool circulation pumps

Diagnosis, repair and replacement of pool circulation pumps. Coordinated with heating where the circulation pump also drives a solar heating system.
Pool filtration systems, Pool filtration and equipment photo

Pool filtration systems

Diagnostic and service on common pool filter types (sand, cartridge, glass media). Replacement filter media, gasket repairs, pressure issue diagnosis.
Pool equipment electrical work, Pool filtration and equipment photo

Pool equipment electrical work

Coordinated with licensed electricians for switchboard work, dedicated circuits for heat pumps, and any pool equipment electrical fault diagnosis.
Plumbing reconfigurations, Pool filtration and equipment photo

Plumbing reconfigurations

When a pool equipment pad needs reconfiguration (new heat pump, replaced pump, repositioned equipment), the plumbing changes get scoped and quoted alongside the equipment work.
Integration with smart pool systems, Pool filtration and equipment photo

Integration with smart pool systems

Coordinating Zane and Guardian controllers with broader smart pool control systems. Particularly relevant for newer pool builds with integrated automation.
End-of-life equipment assessment, Pool filtration and equipment photo

End-of-life equipment assessment

When pool equipment is aging across multiple components, we'll assess the whole equipment pad holistically and advise on staged replacement versus full refresh.

Not sure if your job fits our scope?

Call us and describe it. If it's ours, we'll book it. If a specialist will serve you better, we'll say so and point you to one.

THE PROCESS

How broader pool equipment service works

Same booking process as heating service (phone, email, or online), but the conversation goes a bit deeper to confirm scope.

1. You call or book online

Phone (08) 8349 4333 or online booking. Describe the issue or scope and we'll let you know if it's within our service offering.

2. We scope the work

A brief diagnostic conversation. For straightforward issues, we book service directly. For larger scope work (multiple equipment items, electrical coordination), we may quote a site visit first.

3. Service window confirmed

Metro Adelaide within 48 to 72 hours for standard service. Larger scope work scheduled based on tradesperson availability (for example, electrical work coordination).

4. The service visit (and any coordination)

A Beasley technician arrives, plus any coordinated trades (for example, a licensed electrician). Most service issues resolved single-visit; larger scope work may run across multiple days.

5. Transparent reporting

You get a clear explanation of what was found, what was done, what (if anything) was outside scope, and what's recommended next.

"Five stars for Henry and his team. Best price, modified the standard process to suit my property's requirements at no extra cost, and prompt after-sales service."

WHAT IT COSTS

What broader pool equipment service costs

Same pricing principles as heating service: quoted upfront, no surprises. Here is the shape of it, plus the signs it's time to call.

Service call-out and diagnostic, Pool filtration and equipment photo

Service call-out and diagnostic

Standard call-out fee covers travel and initial diagnostic. Confirm current rates when booking.
Repairs, Pool filtration and equipment photo

Repairs

Quoted upfront before work proceeds. Common pump and filter repairs are usually quick visits with quoted parts pricing.
Coordinated electrical work, Pool filtration and equipment photo

Coordinated electrical work

Licensed electrician work is quoted separately. We coordinate but don't mark up electrical work.
Larger scope refurbishments, Pool filtration and equipment photo

Larger scope refurbishments

Equipment pad refurbishments quoted as a single project with itemised pricing for equipment, install and any trades coordination.
When to call us, Pool filtration and equipment photo

When to call us

Pool not warming despite the heater running, noisy or failing pumps, filter pressure problems, rising running costs, or equipment that hasn't been looked at in years. We'll diagnose the whole circuit.

What we'll never do: start chargeable work without quoting it first.

Every repair and refurbishment is itemised and explained before work proceeds, and we're upfront the moment something sits outside our scope.

WE HAVE THE ANSWERS

Filtration, electrical & pool equipment FAQs

  • Pool circulation drives both heating and filtration. Reduced circulation due to a clogged filter, failing pump or other circulation issue can make a perfectly good heater look like it's underperforming. When we service a "heating issue", we check the full circulation circuit, because sometimes the answer turns out to be the filter or pump rather than the heater.

  • We coordinate with licensed electricians for any electrical work. Beasley's team handles plumbing, equipment and heat pump installation; the electrical work itself is done by licensed electricians we work with regularly. You get a single coordinated service experience without juggling multiple bookings.

  • Yes. We replace circulation pumps, filter media, gaskets and seals, pressure gauges, and other common pool filtration components. For complete filter replacement (for example, a sand filter approaching end-of-life), we'll quote a replacement and coordinate the install.

  • No. Pool water chemistry is outside our scope. Talk to your local pool shop or a dedicated pool water service for chemistry advice. We may flag chemistry issues we notice during service (for example, corrosion suggesting water imbalance) but we don't test or balance water.

  • This is a common scenario for older pool equipment pads. We'll assess the whole pad, quote a coordinated refurbishment, and deliver it as a single project. Often more economical than doing each item separately as it fails.

  • Yes. Our team has decades of experience across the broader pool equipment market, including Zodiac, AstralPool, Davey, Pentair and many others. We're upfront if a specific brand or model is outside our experience.

  • Standard service across metro Adelaide is typically within 48 to 72 hours. Larger scope work involving trades coordination is scheduled around tradesperson availability, and regional visits are scheduled around travel logistics.

SINGLE-TEAM ACCOUNTABILITY

Why one team across the equipment pad beats juggling trades

Heater, pump, filter and electrical all live on the same pad and share the same circulation circuit. One team that understands the whole system diagnoses faster, coordinates the trades, and owns the outcome. Here is how that compares to the alternatives.

"Excellent service, excellent product, competitive price."
