It’s for guidance only. The calculator uses the same sizing methodology our team applies during onsite quotes, but it’s not a substitute for a formal quote. Our knowledge and experience with all the factors (roof aspect, condition, structural integrity, shading patterns and other variables) is what gives you the most accurate quote.
For Adelaide-condition pools with a sun-facing roof, collector area roughly equal to pool surface area delivers a comfortable temperature lift across the extended swim season. South-facing roofs need 20 to 30% extra area to compensate for reduced sun exposure.
Calculate the approximate rectangular area enclosing the pool (longest length x widest width) as a rough approximation. For a more accurate measurement, get in touch. We can size from aerial photography or plans.
