The cost depends on your pool size, the system you choose, and your installation specifics. Solar pool heating is cheaper upfront and costs less to run, but it needs a fair amount of roof space and its output depends on the weather. Heat pumps cost more upfront and draw electricity to run, but they hold a consistent, reliable pool temperature for as long as you want to swim. DIY kits are the lowest total cost if you're hands-on.

Solar pool heating typically extends the Adelaide swimming season from the usual three-month summer (December to February) to seven or eight months (late September through to early April). Heat pumps can do the same, and if they're sized correctly, take you to year-round swimming when you want it.
Solar has the lowest running cost (free fuel from the sun) and suits homes with enough sun-facing roof space. The cheapest install is rarely the cheapest unit over its lifetime once parts availability, service response and product longevity are factored in.
Yes. We supply Zane Gulfstream DIY kits in five sizes (18, 22, 28, 33 and 40 square metres) to suit different pool sizes. Each kit ships Australia-wide with full installation instructions and phone support from our team.

Beasley Pool Heating has been family-owned and family-operated since John Beasley installed his first solar pool heating system in 1979.
Three things have stayed constant since: the family running the business, the standards we hold ourselves to, and the products we're willing to put our name on. Today, the Beasley family is still actively involved in the business, so you'll usually speak to one of us directly when you call.
